A lifetime resident of Wenatchee, Commissioner Compton began his service with Chelan County Fire District 1 in 1972 as a Volunteer Firefighter. During his time as a Volunteer, he served as President of the Volunteer Association for several years. He was elected to the position of Commissioner in November of 1993, and appointed Chairman of the Board in January
2001. Commissioner Compton is a self-employed Orchardist, is married, has two sons, and one
grandchild on the way |

A lifetime resident of Wenatchee , Commissioner Fritz has served as Commissioner for Chelan County Fire District 1 since June of 1971. He
says that “It is a privilege to work with and for the citizens of Chelan County Fire District 1.” Commissioner Fritz has had a
career in retail for 38 years. He is married with a son, a daughter, and two grandchildren. |

A lifetime resident of Wenatchee, Commissioner Dormaier was elected to the position of Commissioner in November of 2003. Prior to his role
as Commissioner, he served as Volunteer Firefighter since 1978. During that time, he served as Secretary/Treasurer to the Volunteer Association
and President of the Chelan/Douglas County Firefighters Association. Commissioner Dormaier is a Certified Public Accountant and a third generation
fruit grower. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1983 with a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. During
his time at UW he made two Rose Bowl appearances as an outside linebacker for Coach Don James. He is married and has one son. |
