Department Personnel

Chelan County Fire District #1 is comprised of 51 personnel who comprise our administration, duty crews, and volunteer companies. The Fire District is a combination department with 11 career staff and 40 volunteers supporting them. The career line personnel and resident firefighters are assigned to a duty shift. The personnel assigned to a shift work a Modified Detroit schedule consisting of 24 hours on, 24 off, 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 96 off.

The volunteer personnel are assigned to a company and report to a company officer.
