Fire Chief

Chief Brian Brett comes to Chelan County Fire District 1 with 26 years of fire service experience.  He began his fire service career here, at CCFD1, and is excited to return after having worked his way through the ranks in the valley.  Brian’s most recent position was with our neighboring fire department, Douglas County Fire District 2, where he was the Assistant Chief functioning as the Fire Marshal.  This experience followed by a year long mentorship with Fire Chief Mike Burnett has positioned Brian to continue the success of CCFD1.

Brian has experience in numerous disciplines including fire suppression, emergency medical services, accounting, training and management.  His educational background consists of a degree in fire service administration as well as a degree in accounting.  He holds a Washington State Certified Public Accountant license.
