The Fire District will host an Open House at Fire Station 13 to give the community a chance to walk through the newly constructed station at the base of Squilchuck Road. The station was funded with a Community Development Block Grant and replaces a small, cinder-block station constructed in the 1970's.
Volunteers will continue responding from Fire Station 13 until a new downtown fire station is complete (at the former Prospector Pies location) in late 2019. At that time Fire Station 13 will have full-time staffing.
