Voter Pamphlet Pro and Con Committees - Proposed Regional Fire Authority

Chelan County Fire Protection District No. 1 and Douglas County Fire Protection District No. 2 recently adopted a Joint Resolution providing for the submission to the voters on August 2, 2022 a proposition authorizing the formation of the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department which will operate as a regional fire authority pursuant to a plan approved by both fire districts. Both Districts are accepting names of people interested in participating in voter pamphlet statement pro and con committees. Appointments must be made by May 13, 2022.
